Island Moped Rental is Put-in-Bay Ohio's exclusive moped rental agency and features late model Tomos Mopeds. Mopeds are an easy fun way to tour the Lake Erie Island shoreline or visit Put-in-Bay's numerous island attractions.

Mopeds are rented by the day, hour, or week. Overnight rental is NOT available.

You must be 18 years of age to rent or operate a moped.

Island Moped Rental is located at the Edgewater Hotel Put-in-Bay next to Mr. Ed's Bar and Grill in downtown Put-in-Bay Ohio, just a short walk from the Jet Express ferry.

  1. You must be a licensed driver and 18 years of age or older to rent a golf cart or moped. You agree this is a licensed motor vehicle and all traffic laws must be obeyed.
  2. Making an online reservation is a guaranteed reservation and my card is charged on the day of my arrival for the entire amount due for the period I have designated above. Reservations are only accepted for minimum of 1 day rental. Hourly rentals are walk-up only.
  3. If you choose to cancel, you must cancel 24 hours prior to your date of arrival. You must do so by e-mailing us and a copy of the e-mail showing your cancellation with a date 24 hours prior to the dates you have reserved above is the sole proof of cancellation in the event of a dispute. Same-day reservations may thus not be cancelled. You accept sole responsibility for providing this documentation in the event of a dispute.
